WordPress websites

A business website you can update yourself.

What we do for you

WordPress is a system for managing website content. We build your pages, adapt the design to your brand and set up an editing area for your team. You can change text, photos, services and articles without editing code.

A practical example

You could publish a new service or announcement in a few steps. We show you how to edit the agreed areas without changing the overall design.

When it is useful

Suitable for business websites and regularly updated content. Hosting, updates, backups and plugin licences need an ongoing plan; these are agreed separately from the initial build.

What we can take care of.

01

Content architecture and page templates

02

Customised WordPress development

03

Editor setup and access permissions

04

Update, backup and maintenance planning

The specific deliverables are confirmed in your project proposal.

From conversation to delivery.

01

Start with the right questions.

We define your audience, priorities and practical requirements before proposing a solution.

02

Bring the right pieces together.

Design and development move together, with clear milestones and feedback throughout the work.

03

Launch with a plan for what follows.

We test before launch and agree how support, measurement and future improvements will be handled.

Your questions. Clear answers.

Will the website need ongoing maintenance?

Yes. WordPress, themes and plugins need updates and compatibility checks. We can define a maintenance arrangement, including backups and recovery responsibilities.

How are cost and timing defined?

After an initial discussion, we define priorities, deliverables, dependencies and approvals. The proposal sets out the scope, stages and fee before work begins.

Can you work with our existing team?

Yes. We agree roles, system access and communication so responsibilities and coordination are clear.

What do you need to get started?

A description of your goal, the tools you use and the main constraints. You do not need a finished technical specification.

Do more plugins mean a better website?

No. We select extensions for a defined need and review compatibility, maintenance and licence requirements. Unnecessary plugins can make the website harder to manage.

What should happen before a major update?

A current backup and a recovery route should be available. For material changes, we can test on a staging copy before updating the live website. The exact process depends on the hosting setup.

Can staff have different editing permissions?

Yes. We define who should edit content, approve changes or manage settings, then configure appropriate roles. Administrator access should not be the default for every contributor.

Are paid themes or plugins included in the project cost?

The proposal identifies any required licences and whether initial purchase or renewals are included. Ownership of the accounts and responsibility for recurring costs are clarified before launch.
